After MANY jPFChat users downloaded, used and commented on the 211 beta... we've changed a couple of minor code snippets and have released this stable v2.1.1 update. |

This is the 2nd beta file released under the 2.1.x generation. It fixes an uncaught timeout problem that shows itself after about 30 to 40 seconds of user inactivity. Uninstall what you've got and install this in its place. |

Since the Joomla 1.5.15 release, many users have had problems. This is because the fine joomla folks updated to the MooTools 1.12 release but we didn't catch that little change until well after the 1.5.15 update was actually released.
If you're experiencing problems with the Stable release below... please try this beta and let us know if it solves your issues.
We've also implemented an initial solution to the speed of the chat on some servers. Again, please give this version a try if you have unusually slow chat response.
On SOME systems, this version produces a doubling up of some of the chat window responses. If that happens, please know that we're aware of this and we're working on it for the next stable release. |

We're releasing jPFChat v2.0.2 a lot sooner than we expected to. There's been several people getting an "array_merge" function error on some PHP5 installations. We're not sure why it appears on some installations and not on others.
This release corrects that problem in both the main jPFChat component and the whosonline module.

This is the first update to the v2.0.0 release that contains a number of minot fixes and improvements. In addition, the following issues were addressed...
- Altered the way the paths are calculated for all js file urls.
- Removed the redundant MySQL database and table creation functions in the phpfreechat script.
- Added code to automatcally deal with SEF urls.
To upgrade, simply uninstall your current jPFChat component, and install this version using the joomla installer. You may want to make a printout of your jPFChat settings when you upgrade, so your new installation can be quickly and easily configured the same as your current install.
